Even Gordon Ramsey couldn’t save the Cambridge Hotel. Steve Barnes reports on his blog that the troubled Cambridge Hotel, which was foreclosed on earlier this spring, will close after a farewell party on Sunday (6/17), according to a note sent to customers.

The news comes just days after the date of the series premiere was finally announced for “Hotel Hell,” the Gordon Ramsay reality show in which the profane British chef tries to turn around failing inns. Earlier this year the Cambridge Hotel was visited by Ramsay for an episode of “Hotel Hell.”
