Every December, my brother assembles an audio collage for the New York Times Magazine featuring the works of musicians, songwriters, and producers who have died in the past year. Here’s the 2011 edition. In his words: “This is my mix, it was quite difficult and pointless, and now that it’s done I’m going to get the flu.”
